Explain it once

Teach courses or workshops? Then every new group comes with the same questions. When it starts, what to bring, whether you can make up a missed lesson. W0RK puts those questions in one place, and the answer in a card.

An ordinary Tuesday

You teach painting workshops, and you sell the places through your own WooCommerce shop.

08:30. The daily mail tells you how much is waiting: eight messages, five in Rapid Reply.

08:35. Three new signups have come in through WooCommerce. Every student now has a client card, with what they booked.

08:45. Four people ask what they should bring. Your card about that has the materials list as a file, so it goes along with the draft as an attachment. Approve, Send, done.

10:00. Someone asks if the workshop can also be done on location, at a company. That's not in your knowledge base, so there's no draft. You write it yourself, and then put it in a card.

16:00. The board shows what needs to happen for the next series: ordering paint, confirming the room. Under My tasks you see what has your name on it.

Time back, a worked example

Say: the same five questions every day (when does it start, what do I bring, can I make up a lesson), and 3 minutes per answer. That's a quarter of an hour a day. With about 22 working days that's 330 minutes: about 5 to 6 hours a month. Charge €75 an hour, and that's 5.5 hours x €75 = well over €400 a month. W0RK costs €150 a month. If a draft from your knowledge base takes over most of that typing, W0RK has paid for itself.

A worked example, not a promise. How much time you get back depends on your questions and on what's in your knowledge base.

What helps

• WooCommerce: sell your places through your shop, and the orders come in with the student attached.
• The knowledge base: dates, materials and agreements in cards. A file on a card can go along as an attachment.
• Rapid Reply: drafts only from your own knowledge.
• Boards: what needs to happen for the next group.
• Your team: teach as a pair, and you invite a colleague with a role of their own.

What it doesn't do

• Send nothing without you. No automatic replies, not after an hour, not in bulk.
• Make up an answer when your knowledge base says nothing about it.
• Make quotes or invoices.
• Channels other than mail, WordPress, WooCommerce and MailBlue. WhatsApp or Instagram aren't in there.
• A learning environment. Lessons, videos or assignments go somewhere else.

What it costs
