Messages brings together what comes in from your connections: mail, comments on your WordPress site, orders from your online shop. B03M looks along, nothing more: it marks nothing as read and moves nothing in your mailbox.
The six tabs
- Open: what's waiting for an answer.
- Rapid Reply: questions your knowledge base knows something about. More about Rapid Reply.
- Parked: for later, or for a colleague, with a reason.
- Done: handled, with who sent it and when.
- Transactional: newsletters, confirmations, noreply addresses.
- Spam: what your mail server saw as spam.
Sorted by itself
B03M sorts what comes in, with fixed rules and without AI. A noreply or a sender you marked as transactional goes to Transactional. If two words from the message sit together in one knowledge base card, it goes to Rapid Reply, with the card as the reason. Whatever someone moved themselves stays put.
A message you already answered outside B03M closes itself, with the reason alongside.
How to work with it
- Reading: click a message open. Behind the sender is their address, and whether there's a client card.
- Handler: every message has one. Pick someone, and it goes to Parked. A colleague takes a parked message to themselves in one click.
- Several at once: select with Shift click or ⌘A, and move, park or pick a handler for all of them.
- Search: searches every tab, Done and the whole history included. A hit says which tab it's in.
- Fetching: every fifteen minutes by itself, or right away with the button.
Spam
Spam never shows the content: only the sender with name and address, the subject, why it's spam, and whether SPF, DKIM and DMARC checked out. Not spam sends it back to Messages, on your mail server too, and only then does B03M fetch the content.
The history
A new connection first brings in the last month, then the rest. Whatever is older than a month before connecting goes straight to Done. Mail older than six months B03M keeps as sender, subject and date; Fetch content gets the rest.

What it doesn't do (yet)
- Writing a new mail, apart from a question: Messages is for answering.
- Attachments are kept and can be opened, but executable files don't get in.
- Other channels, like WhatsApp or Instagram.
