Clear agreements

These terms apply to B03M: the app at app.boem.top with B03M FAM and B03M W0RK, and the subscriptions you take out for it on boem.top. What we do with your data is described separately on the privacy page. This is a translation of the Dutch terms. If the two differ, the Dutch version prevails.

What B03M is

• B03M FAM is for home, for a family. You use it as a consumer.
• B03M W0RK is for freelancers and small businesses. You use it for your work, and take it out as a business. FAM comes free with W0RK.

What exactly is inside is described at FAM, W0RK and in the docs. B03M changes: things get added, and sometimes something goes away or works differently. If something important you pay for disappears, we'll let you know first.

Your account

• One person is the owner of a family or a work environment. They take out the subscription and manage who gets in.
• You're responsible for the accounts you create or invite, and for what happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself and switch on two-step verification.
• Kids don't log in on their own: they come in through a parent. A parent decides what a child can see and do, and is responsible for that.
• An account is for your family or your business. Don't share it with others outside it.

Prices and paying

• The prices are on the pricing page. FAM includes VAT. W0RK excludes VAT: it's added at checkout.
• You pay through Stripe, monthly or yearly, in advance. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel.
• 30 days free from the moment you open your invite link. After that, everything stays visible, and you can make changes with a subscription. You fill in your payment details when you take out a subscription.
• From FAM to W0RK: what you already paid for FAM comes off W0RK, up to €50.
• If a price goes up, we mail you at least 30 days in advance. The new price applies from your next period. Don't want that? Then cancel before then.

Cancelling

• You can always cancel, in your account on boem.top. Your subscription then runs until the end of the period you already paid for. After that you pay nothing more.
• A yearly FAM subscription also renews after the first year. If you cancel after that, it stops within a month, and you get back what you paid for the rest of that year.
• Cooling off period (FAM). As a consumer you have 14 days to change your mind from the moment you sign up. Within those 14 days you can withdraw. You then only pay for the days you already used B03M.
• You take out W0RK as a business. No cooling off period applies to it.

When your payment stops

If you cancel, or a payment no longer goes through, your account stays, set to read only. You can still log in and see everything, but you can't add or change anything. You can still request an export of your data. Pay again, and everything works right away like before.

Your data

• What you put in B03M stays yours. We only use it to make B03M work for you, not for ads, and we sell nothing.
• Want to take your data with you, or have your account and everything in it deleted: mail yo@boem.top. After deletion, everything is gone within 30 days. We keep invoices for as long as the law requires.
• Who gets to see what is listed per service on the privacy page.

The assistant

B03M writes drafts and answers with AI. They can be wrong. Read them before you use them. In W0RK nothing leaves the building until you press Approve and then Send: what you send is yours.

What's not allowed

• Using B03M for anything the law doesn't allow, or to harass others.
• Sending spam or unsolicited bulk mail through W0RK.
• Trying to break in, bypass the security, or load B03M so heavily that it stutters for others.
• Putting content in B03M you don't have the rights to.

If that happens, we may block your account. Unless it's urgent, we'll talk to you about it first.

Availability

We do our best to keep B03M working at all times, and make a copy of the database every day. But sometimes there's maintenance, or something goes wrong. We can't guarantee B03M is always reachable.

When things go wrong

• If you suffer damage through a mistake of ours, we're liable up to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before. Unless we did it on purpose or through gross negligence: then that limit doesn't apply.
• We're not liable for damage from something you send or decide yourself, even if a draft from B03M was the reason.

If we stop

If we stop B03M, or FAM or W0RK, we'll let you know at least three months in advance. You can then take all your data with you. What you paid in advance for the time after that, you get back.

Changes

If these terms change on a point that matters to you, we mail you at least 30 days in advance. Don't agree? Then you can cancel before they take effect.

Law and complaints

Dutch law applies to these terms. Got a complaint? Mail us first: we'd much rather sort it out together. If we can't, the competent court in the Netherlands decides.
