Kids in B03M
A screen of their own for every kid, and a PIN only parents know.

A kid never logs in by themselves. They come in through a parent, and then see their own screen, with what the parents allow: their pocket money, the games, the calendar, whatever you like.
How it works
- Adding them: under Settings → Family you add a kid, with a name, a role and a birth date. They don't get a password.
- Permissions: in the May-I matrix you set per module whether the kid may do nothing, may read or may write. Of the tasks, a kid only sees those on boards they may see too, and they tick off a task in their name themselves.
- Handing over the screen: on a shared device, pick the kid under your avatar. B03M switches to their screen.
- Taking the screen back: under the kid's avatar are Back to a parent and Log out. Both ask for the PIN of one of that kid's parents. Every parent picks their own PIN, under Settings → Privacy and security.
Safe
- The PIN can't be guessed. After five wrong tries a short pause, after twenty in a day it locks, and the parents get a notification. A wrong code shows no error: the window just closes.
- KletsGPT knows who's typing and how old they are, and has layers of safety for kids. More about KletsGPT.
- Settings: a kid sees their own personal settings, not the family's.
💡
Tip. For a kid of three or four, open the Little ones corner in Games, and hand over the screen. Getting back to the rest of the app only works by holding the back button for two seconds.
What it doesn't do (yet)
- A kid has no password of their own, not even on their own tablet: it always goes through a parent.
- A kid can't add family members or modules, or see the matrix.
- A time limit on screen time or games isn't there.
